Training has always been part of the DNA of Ideal Work, so the response to physical courses being suspended as a result of COVID has been to launch our online webinars which provide a first introduction into the world of Ideal Work and its fabulous products.
The Ideal Work professional webinars shrink the physical distances between us, offering everyone the opportunity to participate. If you would like to join us please contact us and we will book you in.
Attending the webinars is the first step towards you becoming a trained installer.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Languages: Italian and English
Frequency: Every Wednesday
Technical training with Ideal Work UK
In a COVID safe environment, we offer a two hour technical training at our facility in Lewes, East Sussex. During these two hours we will run through the key aspects of substrate appraisal and preparation, the key micro cement systems; Microtopping®, Architop®, Rasico® and Rasico® Touch, as well as talking you through the range of protective sealer coats available so you can make an assessment of which to use.
Duration: 2 hours
Frequency: By appointment
Attending the technical training is the second step towards you becoming a trained installer.
On-site training with Ideal Work UK
Following the mantra “you learn best by doing”, we offer you the opportunity to attend a minimum of two days on site, where you will participate in the installation under the instruction of an experienced installer of Ideal Work products. Ideally, you will participate in the preparation day (mesh and epoxy), at least one of the micro cement days and at least one of the sealer days. Having completed the minimum of two days of on-site training you will be a fully trained installer with all the benefits that this entails. We will do our best to consider your location when allocating a training project for you and of course will liaise with you so that the project is not conflicting with your other commitments.
Continuing support and other benefits
From time to time throughout your life as an installer using Ideal Work products, you will need technical support in order to successfully address the challenges that any particular project may present. Our sales and technical team all poses a thorough knowledge of the systems and are able to provide you with real time advice and our own teams are supported by the expertise of the Italian team who are always ready and willing to assist.
As a trained installer we will consider you for referrals for installation projects as we run a healthy marketing campaign which generates many enquiries. We love to receive your photos so we can post them on social media or feature you on our Ideal Work UK website and would proudly put forward any particularly prestigious project for the Ideal Work website and Ideal Work’s “Book of Works”, which is an elegant publication distributed internationally to Ideal Work’s most important architect and designer clients. Finally, you will benefit from our premium discount and the full range of our services, including next day delivery, assistance with quotations, assistance with pricing projects and much much more.

Travel to Vallà di Riese: There are two airports which serve the area, Venice Marco Polo (Easyjet) and Venice Treviso (Ryanair). You will need to arrive on the evening before. We will arrange for you to be picked up from either airport and accompanied on all transfers from hotel to course and back to the airport. So once you first arrive at the airport you won’t need to make any other travelling arrangements unless you decide to extend your stay.
Coming to this part of Italy presents an excellent opportunity to visit Venice and the surrounding area. Car hire is readily available from both airports. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 60 mins drive from the course venue, whilst Venice Treviso Airport is a 30 min drive and buses from the airports are readily available to central Venice.
Local hotels: There are a number of excellent hotels and B&Bs within a few minutes of our Ideal Work course location with varying price ranges. Please ask for details. Alternatively, we will be happy to book for you. There are a few hotels we typically use such as the Albergo Roma at Castelfranco Veneto. Two nights there currently cost €136 plus tax and it includes breakfast and wifi.
