Contemporary Fitness Interior Featuring Nuvolato Architop® Flooring
Barry’s Gym Dublin combines high-intensity training spaces with a refined contemporary interior designed to support the brand’s distinctive immersive workout experience. Dramatic lighting, dark architectural finishes, and industrial detailing are balanced by seamless cementitious flooring that creates continuity throughout the reception, circulation, and changing areas.
Ideal Work Nuvolato Architop® was installed in a Pewter finish to deliver a durable decorative concrete surface suited to the demands of a busy commercial fitness environment. The seamless flooring, producing a high-end polished concrete aesthetic, introduces subtle tonal variation and a softly textured appearance, helping to soften the darker interior palette while maintaining the strong industrial vibe associated with the Barry’s brand.
Applied throughout the changing rooms and communal spaces, the continuous finish enhances the sense of openness and flow while providing excellent durability under constant daily use. The light grey flooring contrasts against black ceilings, bronze-effect locker finishes, illuminated mirrors, and bold marble-effect feature surfaces to create a layered and atmospheric interior.
The project demonstrates how Nuvolato Architop® can be integrated within premium wellness and leisure environments to achieve a balance of performance, visual consistency, and contemporary material character.

From Dusk to Dawn
Immersive Seamless Surfaces for Contemporary Hospitality Interiors
Located in Barcelona, Cohete Discobar combines gastronomy, music and nightlife within a richly atmospheric interior designed to feel both immersive and cinematic. Conceived by Estudio Pilar Libano, the venue uses light, reflection and material continuity to create a distinctive hospitality environment where the architecture becomes part of the experience itself.
Throughout the project, Ideal Work Solidro was applied across the floors in a bespoke NCS S 7020-G colour, creating a seamless dark surface that anchors the dramatic interior palette. Installed by Blanco Seda, the continuous finish enhances the fluidity of the space while allowing the lighting design, mirrored surfaces and sculptural furnishings to take centre stage.
The monolithic flooring moves uninterrupted between the central cocktail bar, lounge seating areas and circulation spaces, reinforcing the club’s immersive character. Deep green-black tones interact with the warm red lighting and soft pendant fixtures to create constantly shifting reflections and visual depth throughout the interior.
Beyond its aesthetic impact, the Solidro® surface delivers the durability and ease of maintenance required within a high-traffic hospitality setting. Its smooth seamless finish contributes to the refined, contemporary atmosphere while supporting the practical demands of an active late-night venue.
Balancing nightlife energy with sophisticated interior detailing, Cohete demonstrates how decorative concrete surfaces can shape mood, movement and identity within modern hospitality design.
