Seamless Architop® Flooring for a Contemporary Family Kitchen.
It’s a shore thing!
This residential project in Brighton features Ideal Work Architop® flooring installed throughout a contemporary open-plan kitchen, dining area, utility space and WC. Installed by The Micro Cement Company, the scheme demonstrates how seamless decorative concrete finishes can bring cohesion, softness and durability to modern family interiors.
Finished in a bespoke 50/50 Pewter and Neutro mix, the floor introduces subtle tonal variation and a natural concrete aesthetic that complements the restrained material palette of the home. The light surface finish works harmoniously with the pale timber cabinetry, dark kitchen island and generous sky-lights, helping to maximise the sense of openness and natural light throughout the space.
Architop® was selected to create a continuous surface flowing between the different functional zones of the property without thresholds or interruptions. The seamless flooring establishes visual continuity between the kitchen and dining areas while offering a highly practical finish suited to everyday residential use.
The softly textured surface introduces warmth and tactility while maintaining a clean contemporary appearance. Combined with the muted wall tones, woven lighting features and carefully balanced natural materials, the flooring contributes to a calm and understated interior environment.
By combining durability, minimal maintenance and refined aesthetics, this Brighton private residence highlights how Architop® can successfully deliver a seamless decorative concrete finish within modern residential architecture.
