Bespoke Textured Microcement Wall Finish for Contemporary Workplace Interiors
Located in London’s Marble Arch district, the Bridgepoint offices incorporate Ideal Work Microtopping® to create a refined and highly tactile interior environment throughout a series of executive, reception, and collaborative spaces over 22 floors. Beautifully executed by Project TSC, the project uses textured microcement wall finishes to introduce softness, depth, and material continuity within a contemporary commercial workplace.
Applied in the “Discovery” texture in a Light Charcoal tone, the seamless decorative wall finish provides a subtle mineral character that shifts gently under changing natural and artificial light conditions. The textured surface introduces movement and variation across expansive wall planes while maintaining a calm and restrained aesthetic suited to a premium office environment.
The scheme is defined by a series of curved architectural forms, integrated doors, and flowing circulation spaces, all of which are enhanced by the flexibility of Microtopping®. The continuous microcement application allows the finish to wrap seamlessly around rounded walls, concealed access panels, and bespoke joinery details, reinforcing the sculptural quality of the interior architecture.
Throughout reception areas, meeting rooms, and breakout spaces, the textured microcement walls are balanced against contrasting materials including blackened timber, glazed partitions, brushed metal detailing, and soft contemporary furnishings. The result is a workplace interior that feels sophisticated yet welcoming, combining tactile finishes with clean architectural lines and understated materiality.
With the thoughtful use of Microtopping® throughout rather than a conventional wall treatment, the project achieves a cohesive visual language across the entire office environment while delivering the durability and low-maintenance performance required for high-use commercial interiors.
