Circus Street, Brighton – WFH, reimagined.
Seamless Flooring for Residential Co-Working Spaces.
Located within Brighton’s landmark Circus Street regeneration development, this project delivers a series of contemporary communal interiors designed to encourage interaction, relaxation and flexible everyday use for residents. Combining lounge areas, co-working environments, informal meeting spaces and shared dining areas, the scheme creates a welcoming social setting within one of the city’s most ambitious mixed-use neighbourhood developments.
Installed throughout the communal interiors, Ideal Work Nuvolato Architop® in Pewter provides a seamless concrete-effect floor finish that complements the project’s warm and playful interior palette. The continuous surface enhances the sense of openness across the shared spaces while offering the durability and low-maintenance performance required for high-traffic residential environments.
The interior design combines soft neutral tones with bold accents, natural timber detailing and vibrant furniture selections to create spaces that feel relaxed, contemporary and highly usable throughout the day. Exposed ceilings, decorative lighting and textured wall finishes introduce a subtle industrial character, balanced by softer materials and planting to create a more domestic atmosphere.
Nuvolato Architop® was selected for its refined mineral appearance and ability to deliver a clean, uninterrupted surface across a variety of communal settings. The light tonal variation within the finish adds depth and character while maintaining the understated aesthetic central to the wider design concept.
Designed to support modern residential living, the communal areas at Circus Street provide residents with flexible environments for working, socialising and everyday life. The project demonstrates how seamless decorative concrete finishes can contribute to contemporary shared interiors that prioritise both functionality and atmosphere.
